SiC Processing (Deutschland) GmbH - Bautzen
Technical know-how and years of experience make the SiC Processing (Deutschland) GmbH a competent, worldwide operating service partner for the processing of used sawing suspension (Slurry), as well as other fine dispersed solids and technical liquids.
The photovoltaic and semiconductor industry is using this slurry to produce silicon wafers out of mono- or polycrystalline silicon blocks. The suspension consists of a fine-grained, sharp edged abrasive (mostly silicon carbide) and a viscose carrier liquid (mostly polyethylene glycol or dipropylene glycol) which acts as a cutting- and cooling medium in the sawing process.
Due to the complex procedure it is possible to reprocess the used slurry dirtied by the sawing process. Thereby recovery rates of 75 to 95 percent are reached for the components.
The processing concept can also be modified for the separation, classification and cleaning of other materials. In the location of Bautzen it is possible to process a capacity of 26,000 tons per year.
